From the Jurassic,Pliensbachian stage ,ibex zone .
Collected from Blockley quarry, in the Cotswold's.
Tear dropped shape, with a crumpled and pointed end ,and an inflated end, with some interesting rolled debris attached to the exterior .This is a lobster burrow, there have been finds from this location of Glyphea prestwichi, so its a strong possibility, that this is a burrow from this same species.
The entire specimen measures 122.9mm x 57mm.
