Collected from red cliff,yaverland,Isle of Wight.
A section of the Weald sub basin,containing a single scale from a fish,this has been very difficult to identify,as there are a lot of possibilities,and would suggest a little more research may be interesting.
From the Vectis formation of the Wealden group.
The entire specimen including matrix measures 76mm x 68mm.
