Collected from the Jurassic lower lias clays, of Blockley in the Cotswolds, this 3d pleuromya specimen is a good example of a juvenile of the species,with both valves present.
This site is now patrolled, and access is not available any more,making this a very limited commodity now.
The specimen is loose from matrix and measures 33mm x 22mm.
