Collected from the jurassic lower lias clays, of Blockley in the Cotswold's, this 3d specimen is a good large example with both valves present.
This site is now patrolled, and access is not available any more, making this a very limited commodity now.
The bivalve is loose from matrix and measures 70mm x 62mm
