Collected from Crickley hill, Gloucester.
Very cute little echinoid, from the Pea grit
Part of the Cotswold escarpment, Crickley hill and the opposite side of Barrow wake has some really cool exposures of Pea grit,where you can find sea urchins and their spines in amongst the scree.
This specimen is still in a small amount of matrix and measures 28.6mm x 22mm.
