Oligopygus from Chihuahua

Oligopygus species
From the Cretaceous.
collected from Chihuahua in Mexico.
A very pretty small sea urchin that has been polished to a beautiful high shine
Displaying the lovely five fold symmetry of all  Echinodermata.
The sea urchin is loose from matrix and measures 23mm x 19mm.

Please Be advised, the specimen has been attached onto the white tray of the display box, with Blu-tac,removing it from the display case may damage the back of the specimen as it may be fragile!
This has been done to ensure the specimen is safe and secure for display and during transport.
