Collected from the Jurassic lower lias clays, of Blockley in the Cotswolds, this 3d specimen is a very good example with both valves present.
This site is now patrolled, and access is not available any more, making this a very limited commodity now.
The bivalve is loose from matrix and measures 45mm x 38mm
