From the Triassic, Rhaetic/Penarth group.
Collected from Garden cliff ,Westbury on Severn Gloucester. UK.
A tiny but superbly preserved shark tooth on the basal bone bed containing fragments from other species,including the scale from a Gyrolepis fish.
Preserved in a black colour standing out from the matrix really well.
The tooth measures 5.4mm and including matrix the whole piece is 35mm x 34mm.
