Fantastic quality bivalve that thinks its a gastropod!
A complete specimen with a beautifully curled "Rams Horn" beak from the Desau Chalk member of Austin Texas.
These are sometimes referred to as Exogyra laeviscula as well.
The specimen is loose from matrix and measures 23mm
