From the Late Cretaceous, Niobrara formation.
Collected from Gove county,Kansas, USA.
A very nice section of Four Vertebra with ribs attached, from this huge fish
mostly loose from Chalk matrix and measuring 92mm x 28mm.
This specimen comes from the Smoky hill chalk and was collected back in the 1980s,
The species had small teeth and was a predatory fish, considered to be closely related to Xiphactinus.
