Collected from Gove county,Kansas, USA.
A very large Vertebra from a big individual, loose from Chalk matrix and measuring 55mm.
This specimen comes from the Smoky hill chalk and was collected back in the 1980s,
The species had small teeth and was a big predatory fish, considered to be closely related to Xiphactinus.
