Collected from Knock cliff,Shanklin foreshore,Isle of Wight.
A very interesting cut and polished piece of Conifer, displaying strong parallel internal lines.
This most likely represents root stock,from a Conifer Tree, there are also some intriguing circles present,these are boring's left by a Pholadid bivalve.
The entire piece measures 91mm x 54mm
