Collected from Gondens-les-Moulins,France.
Very nice Calcaneum or "Foot Bone"from an Ice age cave bear,living around the same time as woolly Mammoths.
There is tiny writing on the specimen with details of location.
This specimen has come to me as part of the late Steve Sherlock collection.
The bone is loose from matrix and measures 87mm x 59mm.
