From the Carboniferous,Westphalian.
Collected from the Blackridge opencast mine,Lanarkshire,Scotland.
A very nice stem from a arborescent horsetail plant,similar to trees,but related to modern Horsetail plants.
Really good solid piece measuring 97mm x 79mm.
